Become a diving professional. Be a leader If you are reading this, you already have more salt in your blood than sugar. Would you like to work in diving? Make a change in your life and work in the best profession in the world, scuba diving. We offer a personalized learning program and a lot of practice, so you can become the best SSI Divemaster. At Dawn Dives Lanzarote, we suggest you to do it in the best way, joining our team, so you can live a dive center from inside. You will learn not only the diving technique and experience, but also to manage and the day to day of a diving center, very important in order to find work as Divemaster. We propose that you join the dive center for 2 to 4 months (according to previous qualifications), starting as an assistant and gradually gaining prominence, until you gain the necessary confidence of a Divemaster. You will transform from a normal diver, one observer, to a group leader, a diving reference. In addition to underwater learning, you will also learn to deal with customers, anticipate their fears and concerns, solve problems in and out of the water, load tanks, repair equipment, etc. Issues that are not learned in a course, but that are learned by working in a dive center, serious and professional which meets all standards. At Dawn Dives Lanzarote we are commited to train you as a diving professional, to become the best Divemaster. In return we want you to have the attitude to learn, evolve and help others, and of course, to enjoy what you do. If this is your profile, we offer you free accommodation in our student flat and the best disposition on our part to transmit everything we know. We have been training diving professionals for 10 years, with whom we mostly maintain contact and they encourage us to continue with our training system, because of the high number of students working in diving around the world currently.

Te proponemos incorporarte a nuestro equipo durante un mes, comenzado como asistente y dándote poco a poco alas y protagonismo en las actividades propias de un centro de buceo, para que puedes ir aprendiendo la profesión de submarinismo día a día, con casos reales, garantizándote que serás un profesional cuando termines tu período de formación. Pasarás de ser un simple observador a un guía de grupo, a un líder, a una persona que dará seguridad y confianza a tus buceadores. En un palabra, a un auténtico DIVEMASTER. Aparte de lo que aprenderás con nosotros bajo el agua, aprenderás también cómo tratar a los clientes, cómo anticiparte a sus miedos y preocupaciones, cómo solventar problemas dentro y fuera del agua, cómo organizar las salidas de buceo, cargar tanques, reparar equipos, y un largo etcétera de cuestiones que no se aprenden en un curso, sino que se aprenden trabajando en un centro de buceo serio y profesional que cumple con todos los estándares que requiere la profesión en cuanto a estándares de seguridad y buen hacer.

Scuba Diver

Through online learning and open water and confined water dives, the SSI Scuba Diver course provides you with the perfect foundation to become an independent and safe diver. You will learn everything you need for open water dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters together with an SSI Professional. With this course you will complete about half of the Open Water Diver course and can upgrade your certification later. All you have to do is complete the remaining theory and limited open water units as well as two open water training dives.

Advanced Open Water Diver

If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! With this program, you can try a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty programs. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor. With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full specialty programs any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training towards them.

El programa de Dive Guide / Dive Master es el primer paso de una experiencia apasionante que no te puedes perder. Aprende a guiar con total seguridad a buceadores certificados en diferentes entornos y condiciones. Al preparar briefings de buceo, hacer evaluaciones del lugar y guiar inmersiones, en muy poco tiempo te convertirás en un Dive Guide seguro y competente. Empieza tu trayectoria profesional de buceo trabajando como Dive Guide o sigue con tu formación para obtener la cualificación de Divemaster.

Deep Diving

Con la especialidad de Deep Diving de SSI aprenderás todo lo que necesitas para bucear entre los 18 y los 40 metros de profundidad gracias a la combinación de sesiones académicas e inmersiones en aguas abiertas. Aprenderás a planificar y completar inmersiones profundas con seguridad y a utilizar ordenadores y cálculos de consumo de gas para disfrutar al máximo de tus inmersiones profundas. Al finalizar, obtendrás tu certificación de especialidad de Deep Diving de SSI y podrás explorar lugares de buceo profundos dondequiera que vayas. Esta especialidad de SSI es un requisito previo para cursar algunos de los programas de buceo avanzados, por lo que es el siguiente paso más recomendable en tu formación de buceo.

Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

Con el uso de Nitrox, podrás aumentar tus tiempos de fondo y los márgenes de seguridad, además de reducir los intervalos en superficie, por lo que podrás pasar más tiempo buceando y menos tiempo esperando. En este programa aprenderás nuevas habilidades y aumentarás tus conocimientos de buceo. Además, aprenderás a planificar y a bucear con seguridad con mezclas de aire enriquecido de hasta el 40 % de oxígeno. Al finalizar, obtendrás la certificación de Enriched Air Nitrox 40 % de SSI.

Diver Stress & Rescue

Con el programa de especialidad de Diver Stress & Rescue de SSI, aprenderás las habilidades necesarias para protegerte a ti y a tus compañeros. No solo aprenderás a identificar el estrés y a evitar accidentes, sino que también te enseñaremos técnicas prácticas para llevar a cabo rescates y proporcionar asistencia en situaciones de emergencia. Al combinar sesiones prácticas en la piscina y en aguas abiertas, este programa te prepara perfectamente y te permite gestionar situaciones de emergencia y de rescate con confianza. Al finalizar, obtendrás la certificación de especialidad de Diver Stress and Rescue de SSI.

React Right - Course Combination (FA, CPR, AED, O2)

React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and the confidence to provide emergency assistance.
