Day 1 | April 4 | Flight Athens - Manila We begin our journey with a flight from Athens to Manila, with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. Day 2 | April 5 | Arrival in the Philippines Welcome to the Philippines! We arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at approximately 11:55 am, where we are greeted by a local representative and transferred to our hotel in the city. After check-in, we enjoy a light snack before we begin our tour. We start our experience with a walk through Manila's rich history with a guided tour of Intramuros, the old fortified area of the city with Spanish colonial charm. After immersing ourselves in the culture and stories of the old city, we have free time to explore the city on our own. We can visit the local market, dine at local restaurants or simply relax at our hotel. The vibrancy of Manila gives us a taste of the city's culture. Day 3 | April 6 | Flight to Coron We wake up in Manila, ready for our Palawan adventure! Palawan is one of the most pristine islands of the 7,640 islands in the Philippines. We head to the airport for our internal flight to Coron. From the plane window, we can see the spectacular tropical islands of Palawan. Upon arrival, we settle into our accommodation, relax and prepare for the days ahead. Day 4 | April 7 | Full Day Diving Coron We begin our full day diving in Coron with Malpadon Reef, where colorful coral and abundant marine life surround us. We then explore East Tangat/Teru Kaze Maru, a WWII shipwreck, where we dive into history amidst colorful fish and coral gardens. After a lunch break, we continue to Lusong Gunboat, another WWII wreck that is now home to rich marine life. This combination of shipwrecks and coral reefs promises us an unforgettable experience in Coron's underwater paradise. * Note: Dive sites are subject to change depending on weather conditions and group preferences. Day 5 | April 8 | Full Day Diving Coron Today we enjoy another full day diving experience, with three exciting dives scheduled. Dive sites will be selected based on weather conditions and group preferences. Between dives, we relax on board, enjoy lunch and admire the magnificent views of the surrounding islands. Whether we are experienced divers or new to the sport, today's adventures promise another memorable day under the waves. * Note: Dive sites may change based on weather conditions and group preferences. Day 6 | April 9 | Coron to El Nido Saying goodbye to Coron, we continue with a scenic ferry ride to the enchanting island of El Nido. As we leave the tranquil beaches and abundant marine life behind, we enjoy the journey watching the Palawan coastline disappear into the horizon. The ferry will take us through turquoise waters, offering us magnificent views of the islands and the sea. Upon arrival in El Nido, we are greeted by stunning limestone cliffs and crystal clear waters, ready to begin the next chapter of our island adventure. Day 7 | April 10 | Full Day Diving El Nido Today we embark on a full day dive in El Nido with three exciting dives. Sites will be chosen based on weather conditions and group preferences. The experience includes exploring vibrant coral reefs, encountering diverse marine life and enjoyable dives in crystal clear waters. Between dives, we relax on board, enjoy a delicious lunch and admire the stunning views of the iconic El Nido islands. *Note: Dive sites may change depending on weather conditions and group preferences. Day 8 | April 11 | Full Day Diving El Nido A full day diving experience at El Nido includes two daytime dives and one night dive. Sites will be selected based on weather conditions and group preferences. We will explore vibrant coral ecosystems and encounter abundant marine life in clear tropical waters during the day, and experience the unique sensation of night diving after dark. In between dives, we enjoy breaks on board for lunch and relaxation with spectacular views of the surrounding islands. * Note: Dive sites may change depending on weather conditions and group preferences. Day 9 | April 12 | Filipino Experience We leave majestic El Nido behind and set off for our next adventure - a very small island nearby. As we cross the Palawan countryside, we take in the natural beauty of the area, arriving at pristine, quiet beaches. We can relax, explore the island, snorkel in crystal clear waters or simply enjoy the sense of isolation. On the island, we stay in wooden huts by the sea. We can relax in hammocks, try the "island gym" or snorkel around a nearby wreck full of marine life. With luck, we might encounter turtles or stingrays. In the evening, we meet the friendly island staff, enjoy a welcome drink and join the island's welcome party. The highlight of the evening is the traditional "boodle fight" - a common Filipino meal on banana leaves. Weather permitting, our evening ends around a bonfire on the beach under the stars. This is the ultimate getaway. Day 10 | April 13 | Return to El Nido & depart Manila for Athens After breakfast, we return to El Nido and fly back to Manila, where our adventure began. Upon arrival at Manila airport, we transfer to the international airport for our return flight. We bid farewell to the Philippines, full of unique memories and hope to return again someday. Day 11 | April 14 | Athens We arrive in Athens early in the morning, with our hearts full of memories and unforgettable moments to share with our loved ones. The coastal areas are sunny and humid, while the mountainous areas are cooler, especially in the evenings. The sea temperature in Palawan is generally very pleasant, ranging from 26-30°C year-round. Clothing & Luggage: It is recommended to take light, cool clothing, sandals or shoes with Velcro, a hat, sunglasses and coral-friendly sunscreen.
