The Open Water Diver course gives you the opportunity to discover the magical world underwater in a safe and professional way. This certification course is the gateway to exploring coral reefs, wrecks and beautiful underwater landscapes - all on your own! What you'll learn: Basic diving techniques and safety procedures. Since the start in 1982, we have trained everything from beginners to instructors and our goal is to give you a proper, safe and fun diving education. Open Water Diver Certificate - choose between finishing abroad during, for example, a trip - or take the whole course with us here at home. This is where the underwater adventure starts! The basic course in sports diving is the first step and after the course you are certified as an Open Water Diver. This course gives you an international diving certificate down to 18 meters depth that allows you to join diving trips and diving excursions, both in Sweden and abroad. If you ever need to rent diving equipment, your certificate serves as proof that you are trained. Many of those who complete the course at home also choose to take a dry suit certificate in connection with this. Open Water Diver Abroad Course - Referral This is an option for those who have planned a trip within 12 months of your course start and do not want to use your lovely vacation days to read theory, sit in classrooms and practice diving in the pool. Referral means transfer and means in the diving context that you do all the theory and pool training on a regular Open Water Diver course in Sweden but do the outdoor diving elsewhere. Apart from the obvious advantage of avoiding studying on vacation, you get most of the course in Swedish but get to do your first outdoor dives in warmer waters. After completing theory and pool training with us, you will receive a reference document you present at a dive center worldwide within a year for completion of the course with the four outdoor dives.
