River diving River diving is one of the most challenging and fascinating disciplines in recreational diving. In the river diving course, you will learn to dive safely and in a controlled manner in flowing waters and to correctly assess the special conditions of rivers. You will be introduced to the planning and execution of river dives and familiarize yourself with current techniques, entry and exit strategies and the right equipment. A special focus is placed on safety, teamwork and the efficient handling of natural obstacles such as rocks, edges or varying visibility. The course combines theory with practical dives in the river and provides you with the necessary know-how to use the current not as a risk but as a controllable element. After completing the course, you will be able to safely plan and carry out river dives - a real adventure away from classic dive sites.
