In this specialty program you will gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate underwater safely and confidently. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distances, how to leave and return to a certain point, in addition to basic navigation patterns. We will also teach you how to combine navigation techniques to improve your experience. All of this enhances your underwater observation skills, improves dive safety, and helps you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the program you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

The Stress & Rescue Diver Specialty program is the best course to learn the necessary skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents, and we will teach you techniques for performing rescues and providing emergency care. With a combination of practical sessions in the pool and in open water, you will be well-prepared and confident in handling emergencies and rescue situations. Upon completion of the program, you will receive the SSI Stress & Rescue Diver Specialty certification.

The intent of the SSI CROSSOVER program for dive professionals is to provide guidance for SSI's philosophies and procedures to professionals at other recognized dive training agencies. You are given the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct SSI programs equivalent to your current qualifications in a safe and fun way. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Dive Professional level according to your prior certification and experience as a dive professional.

The Divemaster program is the first step of an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive partners and become a dive ambassador by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started are 40 verified/logged dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 verified/logged dives in each area, plus Diver Stress and Rescue. You will be certified as a Dive Guide after successfully completing the Divemaster program. Sidemount diving is becoming increasingly common for many recreational divers. The freedom of movement without having to carry a heavy tank on your back and a new buoyancy experience are the exciting advantages of this diving style.

In the SSI Decompression Diving specialty, you will learn to dive recreationally beyond the non-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression, using recreational equipment and a decompression tank. You will also learn and practice the efficient use of your dive computer and its features, including gas switching, gas integration, time to reserve, and time to surface (TTS). The use of these features will become routine, enabling you to safely conduct dives with limited decompression without spending much time on planning. This course is not designed to replace Extended Range training. Instead, it aims to provide access to the world of recreational decompression diving, providing the knowledge and skills to perform this type of dive safely and comfortably, thus offering a first contact with the reality, capabilities, and charms of Extended Range diving.
