Advanced Open Water Diver

This Advanced Adventurer program is conducted by Barbarian Diving Tenerife in Los Cristianos, South Tenerife, and is designed to provide a safe, personalized, and experience-focused continuation of your diving education.

Training is normally completed over three days, including five open water adventure dives, scheduled according to sea conditions, diver comfort, and operational logistics. Dive sites are carefully selected each day to ensure optimal safety, visibility, and learning conditions while showcasing Tenerife’s unique volcanic underwater environment.

All dives are conducted in small groups to guarantee individual attention, proper skill development, and relaxed learning progression. A professional SSI Instructor accompanies students throughout all dives, providing detailed briefings, underwater coaching, and post-dive debriefings.

Complete scuba equipment and dive computers are provided. Equipment setup, handling, and logistics are managed by our staff so participants can focus entirely on learning and enjoyment.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included within the Los Cristianos area. Courses are available in English, German, Italian, Portuguse and Spanish.

Scheduling may be adjusted due to weather or sea conditions to maintain the highest safety standards. Participants must complete the SSI medical questionnaire prior to diving and are responsible for holding valid diving insurance.

Minimum recommended surface interval before flying:

• 12 hours after a single dive
• 18 hours after multiple dives

This program emphasizes real diving experience, confidence building, and safe diving practices while exploring some of the best dive sites in South Tenerife.
