Dive Center
Chris’ Wall is a boat dive to explore along a beautiful wall. This dive can be catered to experience levels of divers - keeping less than 20m for open water divers, or going between 20-30m for advanced divers.
Desoto Inlet is a shallow boat dive (6m – 16m) consisting of overhangs and large rocks. It gets its name from an Old Desoto motor vehicle driven off the cliff into the inlet. Desoto Inlet is on the southern side of the south point, about 80m long and 10m wide.
Beginner dive site - perfect for open water courses. Boat ramp/shore entry. Wall dive with a sandy bottom. Max 14m (deepest as you head to the point of the wall).
The Bird Island Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve located near Lake Munmorah - diving off this island is a great experience. Sandy bottom with rocky out crops to explore less than 20m depth.
Just north of North Solitary island this rock outcrop offers an amazing fish dive. Max. depth of about 15mtr and average of 10mtr, it is best to dive in lower swell conditions. Swim through a split in the rock to reveal large boulders with swim through’s and an abundance of fish life.
The Gutter is an entry point to one of the best dives at Bass Point. Jumping off the rocks into 4 meters of water and swimming north you hitting a 10 meter rock. From here you can venture out to many spots or just hang out in The Gutter itself.
Diving the Navy Warf is a relatively easy entry/exit dive. Majority of the dive could be spent exploring the pylons under the warf. Sandy bottom with patches of seaweed to the left (West)of the warf.
Ball’s Pyramid, 20km off Lord Howe Island, offers world-class diving for advanced divers. Expect clear waters, caves, drift dives, and huge fish schools.
River dive with Pool like entrance, sandy bottom, good for training dives, Tidal depended Must dive in hight tide, Can have boat traffic in area.
Shore entry dive site. Surge can be present at site. Shallow site good for beginner dives. Sandy bottom with rocky areas. Fairly sheltered from outside ocean conditions.
The beach is part of a permanent sandbar that connects Broulee Island with the mainland. Much of the bay is fairly shallow (3-4 metres), with seagrass beds on the sand and reefs around the rocky sides.
