Undulating sun rays filtering through the asymmetrical arrangement on the steep wall where the reef top starts at 3 meters plunging to incongruent depths lend beauty to Ko-Ok a kin to an abstract Picasso piece of art. Mares, Janez Kranjc T-Wreck (★4.5) The shallow reef top at 5 meters is a feeding ground for the resident schooling bumphead parrot fish, so keep watch when you begin your dive or when doing your safety stop towards the end of your dive. Located on the northern tip of the south atoll, T Wreck is a slanting wall that plunges deep. Aqualung Black Rock (★4.6) One of the few known reef manta cleaning stations in Southeast Asia where cleaner wrasse serve to remove dead skin off the mantas’ body. This site is called Black Rock because of a rock at 8 meters where one of the buoys are set up. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Triggerfish City (★4.7) The reef top starts at 5 meters going west inwards where red tooth triggerfish converge, hence the name. Though titan triggerfish are also around to pick up a fight with the unsuspecting diver during nesting season. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Staghorn Point (★4.7) Starting at 7 meters, undulating fields of staghorn coral extending to about 500 meters creep to the edges of a wall that plunges deep at Tubbataha. Mares Southwest Wall (★4.2) A steep wall that plunges deep where mild currents give you a gentle ride to watch schooling juvenile grey reef sharks numbering anywhere between 20 to 50 swim about. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Tangka-an Point (★4.5) A peninsular dive spot on the southern tip of Padre Burgos. Exposed to a 3 sided waterfront from the south, east, and west make for a good drift dive when the currents pick up. Mares Turtle Rock (★4.1) Divers plunge to the deepest depth of the wall at 20 meters & follow a bearing to the sandy slope westward to check out 4 massive rock boulder outcroppings. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tangub Bay (★4.6) The entry welcomes you at 4 meters where the topography is a mixed coral garden of soft & hard corals, the reef then slopes down steeply angled at 25 – 35 degrees all the way to 30 meters. BLUE MONSTAR, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Abaca House Reef (★4.4) Blue Monsta Houseleaf is a five-minute drive from Maktan Newtown and you can see a variety of marine life, especially turtles, trigger fish, grouper, crown fish, trumpet fish, sardines, fan coral and seahorses. HB ANDA SCUBA DIVING CENTER CORP., 6311 ANDA Virgen west (★4.8) Virgen West is located in the middle of the Virgen marine sanctuary. The top of the reef starts around 5m and the drop off go down until 30m. On the bottom its interesting sandy slop. Dive Point Siquijor, 6227 San Juan, Siquijor Johnlhea Coral Garden (★4.7) One of the most popular shore entries in Siquijor is 1,3 kilometers south of San Juan town center. You will find on the right side the John Lhea Resort sign board. Turn in and check in at Dive Point DC which is located there for a shore dive in Coral Garden. A great site for a night dive. Hans E. (#3545391) Largahan (★4.5) Largahan is a very beautiful and diverse site. You will find a dark sandy area of coral gardens and volcanic rocks. This site is great for macro diving, like the whole of Apo Island. Virginia Scuba, 20109 Manassas West Escarceo (★4.5) This beautiful site is covered in brightly colored coral and is full of life. Weather and time of year can change this dive from a drift dive to a slow paced tour. Expect tons of fish and sea critters on this dive. Mares, Janez Kranjc Cathedral (★4.4) This dive site is home to an underwater landmark cross that was installed by none other than former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos. The cross is situated between two big rocks at around 18m/60ft. and is decorated with soft corals. Mares Masaplod Sur, Dauin Negros (★4.4) Masaplod Sur, also know as Kagamas is a mix between reef and muck. You’ll find some patches of corals in the middle of the typical volcanic dark sand of Dauin. Mares Aphol’s (★4.4) Aphol’s is a well-loved dive site in Anilao, located in Batangas. Known for its diverse underwater terrain and rich marine life, it offers a rewarding experience for both recreational and experienced divers. Analynne S. (#3245254) SILVER REEF HOUSE REEF (★4.6) Gentle slope reef with a lot of yellow tail Snappers, resident Green Turtles and Hawksbill turtles. Reef has strong current but a diver can hide behind huge coral bommies and hang out with fish at 5m Scubapro Apo Scuba House Reef (★4.6) One of the best spots for macro diving—ideal for spotting fascinating and tiny critters. Dauin is a paradise for underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts, offering black sand dive sites teeming with rare and exotic marine life. The area’s nutrient-filled waters create the perfect habitat for muck diving. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Palm Beach (★3.9) An easy shore entry takes you to 3-8m reefs ending in a vertical wall, descending to 40m+ depths. Ideal for all levels of divers, however care should be taken on outbound tides as the currents can be very strong. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Maniguin Lighthouse Reef (★5.0) Located 2.5 hours by banca southwest of Boracay Island, the dazzlingly blue waters of Maniguin Island are a diver’s dream come true. Typically 30-40 m viz, the Lighthouse Reef features a sandy slope followed by a drop-off to 65 meters plus depth. Mares Atlantis House Reef (★4.4) Located directly in front of Atlantis Dive Resort, the Atlantis House reef is a combination of sandy areas, artificial reefs, coral reefs, and seagrass beds. Aqualung Popolcan Island (★4.2) Popolcan Island is a scenic and beginner-friendly dive site in Bacuit Bay, El Nido, known for its healthy coral reef and sloping wall. The dive typically begins on a shallow coral garden at around 5 to 10 meters (16 to 33 feet), which gradually slopes down to deeper areas reaching approximately 25 to 30 meters E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City E&Z DIVE CENTER (★4.8) EZDC House reef is a white sand beach good for swimming, snorkeling and confined Open Water Diver training. It is a slight slope from shallow 3m/9.6feet upto 18m/59feet. A place rich for macro and wideangle photography. Cebu J Dive Center, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Gilutungan Coral Plateau (★4.1) Hilutongan is 30mins. away from Jpark Marineboy Dive Center via Speedboat, and it is under the Municipal of Cordova, it is a small island close to Nalusuan E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Gilutungan Marine Sanctuary (★4.3) Gilutongan Island, also called Hilutungan Island, Hilotongan Island or Lutungan Island, lies 30 minutes by banka boat from Mactan Island. The island is home to numerous coral reefs and sea grass meadows. Aqualung Coraya Divers Camiguin Housereef (★4.2) The Coraya Divers Housereef is located about 200 meters along the sandy beach from Balai sa Baibai Dive Resort. With a maximum depth of 6m it is a perfect spot for the first Open Water Diver confined sessions and introduction dives. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Marigondon Cave (★4.2) Marigondon Cave is the most exciting dive along the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu. It has a roof at around 29m/95ft and a floor of at about 40m/133ft. the diameter of the cave is near 10m/33ft. At the entry there is a small alcove. Sidemount or Twinset is a must diving in the area.
