Nea Kameni (Wreck)

This wreck is located inside of the volcano of Santorini. It sank in 1981 in the port of Taxiarchis next to the port’s unique church built into the cliff of the volcano. The wreck sank accidentally due to a crew member’s mistake with the pumps.

A photographer’s paradise, this dive has lots of small marine fish set against the wreck for great photos!

The temple of love is between Aspronisi and the light house of Santorini, 15 minutes away from the small harbor of Caldera Beach. This site is made of volcanic reef with kimberlite tubes. The amphitheater on the top of the reef and the outstanding wall made of lava will make you love volcanic diving.

Hot Springs Shallow (Wreck) (★4.4)

This steamboat shipwreck is in the active volcano of Santorini between the new and old Kameni, two minutes away from the famous hot springs. The boat sank at 1926 due to a fire in the engine room which no one can explain.

Cathedral (★4.5)

Cathedral is a nice shore dive for all levels of divers. It can be combined with a wall dive just next to the cavern. There is a chimney allowing sunbeams to create what are called “cathedral light.“ This can be a deep dive where you can observe some very unique antique pottery.

Barracuda Point is a shore dive for all levels. There are lots of fish. On almost every dive you will see a large school of barracuda. You can get very close. They will circle around curiously looking at you.

Swimming Pool is a calm, clear dive site that complies with all the rules and standards for a safe initiation in scuba diving. Many training dives are conducted here. A spot where you can reach the water from two sides.

This dive site is a drop-dive from a fishermen boat. You do a long shallow dive, with awesome passages and rock formations. Your camera won’t stay still. There is a small cavern. This dive is for all levels of diver.

Blue Diamond (★4.4)

this is a boat dive for all levels. Advanced divers can visit a cavern. This cannot be called an island since it is so small but gets pretty large just under the surface, making amazingly beautiful shades of blue from light to really dark . On this rock you will see only birds above water.

To dive Blue Dive you will get dropped from a fishermen boat out into the blue. This is a ver exiting dive for advanced divers or higher. Everybody comes out with a big smile. This dive is deep and in the open ocean so make sure you a very good a buoyancy control.

Black Point is a boat dive suitable for all levels. This site has a small cave. You will find great visibility, typical Mediterranean marine life, and if you get lucky, big pelagics. This is a shallow dive, but the landscape and the visibility are what make it relaxed and enjoyable.

G. Lighthouse (★4.1)

This boat dive is for very experienced divers. Hanging nets, anchors, antique pots, and breathtaking depths await. You will definitely see the amphoras, and if everybody has enough air you can go deeper and see 3 anchors. One of them is huge and standing straight like a monument.
