Rabbit Island is actually called Manana island, but it looks like a rabbit, and the actual 25’ to 60’ drop-off is the typical dive in the area is really NE or the smaller of the two islands at the site, nicknamed Goat Island and called Kaohikaipu. There are no moorings, so it is all drift diving.
Schools of barracuda are common. Good chance for monk seals, eagle rays, white tips, and dolphins. Very healthy rarely dove reef since it is a solid hour ride from nearest harbor.
