Shark Point (★4.3)

Shark Point is one of Phuket’s most popular dive sites. The three pinnacles of the Shark Point break the surface in a small area. The rest is submerged and covered in soft and hard corals. This is a great drift dive. You can frequently spot leopard sharks and bamboo sharks here, hence the name.

The Prem Chai wreck, off Khao Lak, is a purpose-sunk tin dredger (2001) at 12-22m, forming an artificial reef. Accessible for all levels, it’s covered in clams and corals. It’s a thriving artificial reef.

Shark Fin Reef is easy to dive and is, therefore, an absolute highlight even for beginners. The granite rocks go slowly into the depths of the dive site and can be dived at any depth up to max. 30 meters.

Chinese Wall (★4.7)

Chinese Wall is on the south tip of island 4, named as such because it is a very long rock wall. Currents are be possible at depth. In the shallow area, you can hide from the current between the rocks.

Khao Na Yak (★4.0)

Koh Na Yak, near Khao Lak, is a shallow reef dive (max 9m) with a gently sloping sandy bottom. It’s an excellent site for beginners and courses, known for its diverse hard corals and abundant reef fish, including moray eels, barracudas, and clownfish. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs!

Totally shallow dive site if you stay on the island. Afterwards it is a steep sloping reef down to 30m depth. There can be a current. The shallow area is good for snorkeling, training courses, and night dives.

This is a reef dive at the southern tip of Similan Island 5. There may be some current, making this a drift dive. This dive goes between rocks and also come to a small overhang.

The reef starts at 5 meters with a gentle slope with many hard corals which can be found at about 15-20 meters. There are many moray eels, chances to see leopard sharks, white tip reef sharks, napoleons etc.

A soothing dive site on the east side of islands 5 and 6 in the Similan Islands. This site is a rolling reef slope along the edge of the island from a shallow depth of 5-6m to around 25m.

The Sea Chart wreck, off Khao Lak in Phang Nga, is an 84m cargo ship at 40m deep (shallowest 24m). This advanced wreck dive is largely intact, covered in soft corals. It teems with lionfish, batfish, snapper, huge schools of barracuda, and occasional whale sharks. Currents can be strong.

Stonehenge (★4.3)

This dive site is located at the northernmost tip of island 4. Many big rocks (boulders) where you can dive in between. Please note that there is almost always a current running at this dive site.

West of Eden (★4.3)

A topographic dive site on the west side of Island 7 in the Similan Islands. It is centered around three huge rocks that are the highlight of the dive with coral slopes on either side. Soft corals, such as sea fans and sea hawks, are growing in the wall and in the deep area off the rocky coast. These areas are home to hard corals such as Hanaya rhinoceros and a wide variety of other creatures.

East of Eden (★4.3)

East of Eden is on the east side of island 7. This dive site was closed by the administration of the national park to be able to regenerate. Very beautiful coral landscapes are found here. Check from time to time to see when the dive site will be opened again.

Located at the north end of the 7th island in the Similan Islands, this dive site is along the northern apex of an elongated island from north to south. Visibility is clear and the granite boulders, eroded by the tidal currents, form several steps from the bottom.
