Originally, it is a dhow filled with a cargo of sand that sank in 2004, having dived on it 6 months later, we realized that the wreck was already filled with fish, so we sank 2 other wrecks around it.
Just outside the Sahl hashisch bay, 20, 25 min away from Makadi bay and hurgada. Nice shallow dive site that can be done either as a stationary dive or as a drift dive. sandy plateau that turns into a drop off and a lot of ergs full of marine life.
Seamount located in the park's partial protection zone. From depths of 5 to over 40 meters, it's a versatile dive rich in marine life. The imposing topography and abundance of species make it one of the best on Cap de Creus.
Located 23km off shore from Tutukaka harbour, this world class marine reserve has about 60 named dive sites suited for all levels of snorkelers and divers from newbies to seasoned technical divers. Dive sites range from 6 metres to 90 metres.
Artificial riprap at Cap Ferret, where you’ll find a sunken blockhouse, shipwrecks, a stone dolphin, a Venus etc...
Only 20 minutes by minibus to the Glashouse dive site, gently sloping grey sand from the beach, with occasional coral growth, mainly muck / critters
Southernmost point of the Tarifa Island platform. Suitable only for expert level due to its complexity. Free descent, without a rope, in a current zone. Ideal spot for XR Extended Range diving. Depths between 20 and 50 meters.
Colourful wall of sponges and corals with overhanging formations located on the western side of the islands and has dense kelp forests at the north of the site. Depths down to 20 meters plus.
Gradual Sloping from mainland down 25m. Corals along the entire stretch and easy to flow with current. Vis can be very much affect by tidal condition for 3 m to beyond 10m
Tricky, rocky entry at this site (need flat sea). Two reefs seperated by a rock slope. Each reef and a small cavern are the highlights. It is a divesite that gives you a lot of options of diving it.
28-meter drop-off. Dive at slack water with a right-hand descent to return to the boat with the left hand as the current dictates. Dive open to all levels; the Oceana Vsm will take you out on its boat where everything is done to ensure optimum comfort. 30 minutes of navigation to take you to this site.
Shore dive starting from the Playa de Montaña Roja. You get in the water, go under and head south and slowly descend to the reef where we have a max depth of 7/8m. Just follow the reef to the right and then back or follow it to the left and then back to entry/exit point. Easy dive for beginners and refresh.
Small dive on black volcanic rocks unique in Europe at shallow depth ideal for beginners or underwater photography
Colorful wall covered by soft corals, black corals and gorgonians. Depth 2-26m. Usually easy dive with time to search for macro. When current gets strong, great place for drift dive.
The site itself starts from rocky shallows leading to a gentle slope that continues down past 30 metres. Although the fine sand and rocks are the most distinguishing feature, the site is also home to a lot of small corals, wire corals, and hydroids.For critter lovers this is a great site in the Seraya area.
Located a 30-minute boat ride from the Lodge, the Mistio wreck rests on a bottom of at least 26 m. Reserved for the more experienced, it’s best categorized as a deep dive, and should be done with nitrox to better appreciate it.
Front to Licong beach. This dive sive is a very nice drift dive along a beautifull wall. The pateau is around 4m and the drop off go until 30m. This spot is great for beguiners to advanced divers.
A small but fascinating rock formation surrounded by sandy bottom, rich in marine life and perfect for underwater photographers. Its sheltered position, excellent visibility and easy diving conditions make it a top spot for relaxed dives at all levels. Maximum depth: around 13–16 metres.
In the middle of the Naama Bay lays this dive spot with coral blocks in 2 to 40 meters depth surrounded by sea grass areas. Here is nearly no current to expect and since the dive spot is in a protected area without boat traffic the marine life is very diversified.
Gota Iris is the last block from Shaab Iris. Shaab Iris is located in the Abu Nugar region, which is about 1.5 hours from El Gouna and consists of a main reef and many coral blocks. The average depth is 14m.
Under 1h from El Gouna to the south you can find the beautiful reef block of Shabha. The top of the reef starts just under the water’s surface and extends all the way to the sandy bottom just 14m deep, making this a shallow dive. To circle the entire reef will take you about 1h. On the east side there are also some pinnacles.
Elphinstone South is an amazing off-shore reef dive and preferred by many as an afternoon dive due to the fantastic lighting. The dive slopes down from 18m deep to the deepest top of the plateau at 40m.
Easy dive along the coast; max. depth: >40 meter; distance: about 15 minutes in north of Port Ghalib. Boat diving. mostly slight current from north to south.
A great shore dive that is located 11km from Marsa Alam. There is easy access to the water in a bay format, suitable for entry level and experienced divers alike. The reef extends to the north and to the south where the bay divides; you can decide which direction to go...they are both good dives.
Marsa Shagara is a bay with an easy sand bottom entrance that leads to South or North reef dives. The depth starts at 1m and drops to 40m + outside the bay. It is one of the most pristine house reef dives in the south. This dive is great for entry level and experienced divers.
Dive site is 10min by boat from Marsa Alam marina. The perfect place for a drift dive around the reef. Nice, colorful coral all around plus a small, old wreck to explore.
About 30 minutes from the coast by boat. The main reef extends to 14m deep. The south side goes to 20m. There is little current but due to its size, it can be a bit windy and is not always approachable when winds are strong.
Travel time approx. 90 minutes. This wreck sank in 1991 with many casualties. The Salem Express is 110m long and 18m wide. She lies at a depth of 12-33m.
An easy dive without much current, therefore suitable for beginner divers. From Tobia Kebir, you can make 3 different dives. Also diveable in bad weather.
With daily boats from Travco marina and only a 35 minute ride, Anemone City is full of colorful hard and soft corals. The dive starts at 1m depth and slopes to a max depth of 65m. This dive is for more experience divers were mild to strong currents can be experienced.
The boat jetty and the entrance to this house reef are only 30 m from the base. The most beautiful part of the bay is reserved for divers and swimmers and secured by a buoy line. This beautiful house reef offers something for everyone down to a maximum depth of 15 m.
Spectacular rocky formations, tunnels and caves will surprise us at this dive spot. It is recommended to do it from boat because the access of emergency teams is so difficult, jus in case is needed.
The dive spot of Pasito Blanco is situated about five minutes from the sports beach in Pasito Blanco at the south of the island. The sea floor is like a rectangular morphology up to 60 meters long and 16 meters wide. A visit to Pasito Blanco to explore all the nooks and crannies can reveal a whole variety of life.
An easily accessible shore dive location with areas of shade and parking not far from the entry point. This is a large dive site so it never feels crowded here.
Just down the beach from its sister site, the Andrea II, the Andrea I is most well known for its beautiful coral formations from the plate coral that call this reef home. Easily accessible from shore, this is a shallow reef dive and great for snorkeling and beginning divers.
Joanne’s Sunchi (or Joanne’s Kiss) is a beautiful dive site with a deep dropoff. Along this dropoff where a lot of coral grows, there are sand ridges that extend to depth.
A great shore dive accessible from a quiet, calm beach out of the way of most of the tourist action. There are plenty of parking spaces, lots of shade, and benches to set up your gear on. Although a bit of a swim, the reef is healthy a beautiful.
Klein Curaçao is 11 km/7 miles to the east of Curaçao which means a long boat ride and diving is often done during a day trip or in combination with a dive at East Point. Diving is possible all around the island but usually restricted to the north-east and south-west parts due to weather conditions.
Playa Jeremi is a small beach sandwiched between two mighty cliffs. The cove is a sandy plateau which slowly changes into a beautiful coral garden. Divers should swim out until just before the blue line. The reef is a slope that you can follow in a northerly or southerly direction.
The best dive site on the west side of Curaçao, only accessible by boat. At both sides of the gorgeous hard coral reef are two sandy patches filled with large soft corals. The massive hard coral reef starts at 5m / 15ft and gently drops to 20 m/70 ft where it becomes a sandy bottom.
Nice house reef with a north and south side. Easy access from the beach. No boat traffic! No current and diveable in any weather. Night and early morning dives are possible daily!
Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well.
A fantastic dive site that can be accessed by daily boats or as a shore dive. Shallow with a sloping bottom toward a north or south running reef. The south reef can be reached by Zodiac or from the shore.
Narrow entrance with a sandy bottom. Nice coral. A good dive site to make drift dives from the zodiac on the North Anemone City. Good for experienced and beginner divers.
Located East of Praslin island, approximately 15-20 mins boat ride from the dive centre, time may vary depending on the weather conditions. The dive consists of submerged granitic rocks to which there are sponges and corals gripped onto them . Average depth 15-22 metres.
Dive amongst these rocky islands between Praslin and La Digue with depths of 5 to 25 meters. There is much life in these canyons. A beautiful dive. You may need more than one dive to get to see everything this site offers.
Le Rocher : The mythical dive in Martinique !!! Double dive to enjoy the enchanting setting of the rock! The dive is done at the foot of the rock, the water is clear and blue, the walls are covered with all the colors of the rainbow !!!
The Canyon is located 1.5km from the Blue Hole. Another geographical marvel, it is a deep fissure in the reef that you reach after entering a shallow lagoon and swimming along a coral garden plateau.
Done as a boat drift dive or from shore, this dive site offers lots of color and marine life as well as great topography. From the shore, follow the reef on your left for a deep wall dive, but watch for the current at the corner. Follow the reef to your right, you’ll have the bottom beneath you at around 32m.
This dive site is suitable for all diving levels as well as snorkelers. Here you can either do a mooring or a drift dive. This site contains a sandy plateau and drop-off covered with many pinnacles and coral blocks.
