One of the top macro dives anywhere! Scattered ruins and columns are coral encrusted and provide habitat for many types of shallow sea life. The pier is 1526ft/465m long so lots to discover with a gradual westerly decline. Perfect for snorkeling & non-certified divers too.
Also known as Shoni Bay, this site has an easy, sandy entrance with the main reef to the north and south. On the south side, around 80m from the main reef, beautiful coral blocks are found with a lot of colorful hard corals.
Once this dive site was on the top 10 best in the world. Due to this rating many divers dived this site and specially at night. The damage on the top of this Thila (diver error) is bad, but as from 12m acceptable. At night many giant trevally and some white tips hunting.
Not far from Shaab Sheer we can find Shaab Claude. Shaab Claude sits amidst a chain of 3 block groups, each about 5 to 10 minutes by boat far from each other.
The main housereef of Thulhagiri resort. It spans across the northwest-north part of the island. Entry points are marked with red buoys. The western buoy has a line attached to get to 6m deep plateu. perfect for training dives. Afterwards the dive is mostly wall with multiple overhangs going down to about 20m.
The Luis Pena Canal / Channel Marine Reserve hosts several dive sites ranging in depth from 30 ft / 9 m to nearly 80 ft / 24 m. Snorkeling is very popular here. It is a NO TAKE zone, no fishing, lobstering, or taking animals of any kind, any time of year.
Rayong Pinnacle is also known as Alhambra Rock or Hin Plerng. These dive sites are the most famous in Rayong. They have two pinnacles, west and east. The pinnacle is covered with a variety of coral species and groups of fish are commonly found in this area.

The dive site is located approx. 70km south of Marsa Alam and is a shallow dive from 5m to 25m with easy access from shore over the sand to the shipwreck that lays at 16m /17m deep. This dive is suitable for entry level divers, however, in rough conditions, visibility might not be the best.
Muthafushi Thila is a small pinnacle dive site. This site is great for avid photographers and those who enjoy diving slow and looking around to discover all the life this reef has to offer.
This site is located in Abu Galawa reef which is about 1 hour south of Elgouna. This dive site is suitable for all divers, especially beginners. The depth is around 4m with a maximum depth of only 10m. There are beautiful pinnacles full of glass and anthias fish. There is also a possibility for a drift dive and seeing dolphins as well.
This wreck sits in between the Giannis D and the Chrisoula K. It lays in 22m to 27m of water. It’s not a big wreck compared to the others, but still very interesting for divers due to its famously exposed ribs and the glass fish inside.

Between 5 and 20 meters, this site is ideal for beginners due to its shallow depth and multitude of colorful reef fish living there. This site is accessed via a boat entry.
One of Cebu’s most colorful dive sites, Pescador North has an exciting cave with a vertical swim through, offering views of the surface and a variety of beautiful coral and fish to see.
A favourite macro critter diving site; especially for NIGHT divers. Cruising across the sloping seagrass & soft coral beds to find the pipe, which lies in between several coral & sponge encrusted mooring blocks. Easy navigation with tons of macro life. Max depth 16-18m. Best dived on high slack tide.
This dive site is shallow to over 30m with little current, therefore, it is suitable for beginner divers. Because the coral garden is shallow, it is also a very nice place for snorkeling.
An amazing, shallow reef dive great for snorkelers and newer divers. Davey Crocker Reef has one of the highest populations of fish life in this area. Schools of fish, nurse sharks, eels and turtles. This is a must dive.
The nearby jetty can be used to enter this dive or you can enter from the shore through a very nice small canyon leading you to the clear blue water. This dive starts with a sloping sand bottom where you can choose to head to the north or south reef.
An amazing dive site that is approx. 50 min away from Port Ghalib Marina offering daily boats. This dive site is suitable for all diver levels. You will see beautiful hard corals in the shallow areas. The shore can be accessed through the hole in the reef top.
House reef Port Ghalib - offers something for every diver. The beginner can enter the water via a sandy beach and finds a nice reef at 5 - 20m depth. At the outer reef it drops down, depending on the training, to far over 60m.
Snorkelers and divers can enter the park via the jetty/zodiac, speedboat, or beach. The entrance is very easy because you enter the water from a staircase. This site is a slowly sloping reef with many plateaus and up to 40m depth. There is a beautiful canyon at 6 - 18m. Training platforms at 2,3,5 and 9m.
Housereef directly in front of Utopia Beach Club / Pensee south of El Quseir, Egypt. Shallow inside part, great for snorkeling, training and night dives. Fairly protected from waves and currents. Sandy bottom with coral blocks. Many holes and caverns in the reef.
This is one of the most famous wrecks in the world. This site is suitable only for advanced divers and EAN is highly recommended. on a trip there you do at least 2 dives, inside and outside around. The bridge rises up to 17 m.
Entrance from the jetty, a reef that walls down to about 40 metres and more and then descends further. Although perhaps the actual coral formations, given the nature of the reef, are not very present below about 18 metres, the site is excellent for fantastic sightings in the blue.
The HMAS Brisbane was scuttled in July 2005 to create an artificial reef off Mooloolaba’s Sunshine Coast. The Queensland government created a Conservation Park around the wreck. This wreck is buzzing with beautiful marine life.
Very nice calm bay that is suitable for entry level and experienced divers. The bay guarantees a protected dive from the rough sea. Starting with a sloping sandy bottom, a dive to the north and the south sides can be conducted.
Fish Head Thila was formerly known for its enormous population of grey reef sharks. Now it depends on luck, season and the current to see them. The reef plate starts at about 10 meters depth and there can be currents. Fast descent required.
One of the famous dive sites in Hurghada is Small Giftun Drift, also known as the Polics Station. It offers a great wall drift dive finishing with a coral garden plateau and stunning coral reef with lots of marine life of varying types.
Short driving time of approx. 25 minutes and can be approached even in strong winds. Shallow reef (max 16m) with great lighting conditions. Apart from the channel, there is little to no current.
Housereef, directly in front of the dive center, very easy to reach with shuttle and great helpful staff. A little windy and also swell belong here with changing currents.
Exploring the Paradise II, Mabul.“ This site is known for its vibrant, shallow reef with a variety of hard and soft corals, perfect for beginners and experienced divers alike.
Sandy beach slopes & ribbon weed, along to the Little Beach Boathouse jetty (3-5m) is always bursting with fish life & provides fabulous wide-angle photo opportunities. A short swim ~100m from the jetty in approx 10-12m lies the sunken wreckage of a barge creating an artificial reef.
On the East coast, this dive site it is suitable 365 days a year thanks to the breakwater wall that protects the entrance. Tidal changes can cause the formation of currents and undertow along the wall, This site is not to be underestimated.
Departure from the coast, famous for its ease, diversity and abundance of life. Different routes with pre-coraligen from 17m to 30m. Ideal for day and night dives.
As an extension of Punta Santa Ana we find a large block of granite rock. Its profile of 17 to 3 meters depth is responsible for a good number of shipwrecks that have left us different archaeological remains among which we can still enjoy a few falconetes and cannons of the sixteenth century.
Large rock formations and smaller pinnacles (shallowest point is about 7m). Lots of soft corals and whip corals. Gets to 22m+. Not a lot to see if limited to 12m. Next HTMS Sattakut wreck and can both be dived in the same dive.
Banana Bay is located on the east side of Racha Noi island. It consists of a sandy bottom and with hard coral. Depth inside the bay is 5-20 meters. If you swim away from the beach you can find 50 meters of depth.
Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well.
This channel site is in the northeast of Vaavu atoll. This site is more suited to advanced divers as you can encounter strong currents. When there is less current, the dive site can also be for less experienced divers.

Located on the west-side of Nusa Penida Island, Crystal Bay has two coral reef formations separated by sand slopes. The combination of slopes and walls that form the topography at this dive site goes down to more than 50 meters and meets with large rock which is an ideal place for a cleaning station for sunfish.
A beautiful dive site with a lot of canyons inside the reef and small caves. The entrance is from the sandy shore. Amazingly colorful coral gardens and rich in marine life are found here.
One of the most popular dive sites in Cozumel, Paradise Reef is actually three separate patch reefs running parallel to shore and is accessible by both shore and boat. This is one of the few good shore-accessible dive sites on the island. Max depth is 45 feet so this is a good site for beginners and snorkelers.
This site is the remnant of an old pier. It is a shallow site, no more than 30-35 feet of depth with a sandy bottom. The wreckage on the bottom provides an artificial reef for a large variety of marine life. Visibility ranges between 10 feet (if it has been raining) to over 50 or 60 feet.
Umm Sid - The entrance is a steep sandy gravel road that runs between 2 reef plateaus directly up to the beach. Large gorgonian at 35 meters. Sand area with tube eels. Nice shallow area with small boulders that also house cleaning stations.
This side is on a small island surrounded by rocky walls reaching more than 40 meters deep. On the eastern wall of the island there is a cave. The gate of the cave is at a depth of 12 meters and is a favorite part of this dive site.
Batu Kelebit is standing in between the Drop-off of Tulamben Village and Emerald dive site. Accessible only by 5minutes on traditional jukung boat from the Drop-off parking area.
