Hin Lak Ngam is located in the southeastern part of Koh Ngam Noi and H.T.M.S. Prab Wreck Dive.Hin Lak Ngam is a rock that appears on the surface of the water. The depth is approximately 5 - 20 meters. The maximum depth is 25 meters.
Marsa Shagara is a bay with an easy sand bottom entrance that leads to South or North reef dives. The depth starts at 1m and drops to 40m + outside the bay. It is one of the most pristine house reef dives in the south. This dive is great for entry level and experienced divers.
Situated on the east side of Phi Phi Ley, Palong Bay is the next bay north of the famous Maya Bay, made famous by the movie “The Beach.” This dive is relatively easy and is rarely affected by currents. The dive heads south from Palong Bay towards Maya Bay.
The Georgia Aquarium is one of the most renowned aquariums in the United States located in Atlanta, Georgia. This aquarium displays hundreds of different animal species amongst seven themed galleries.
’El Canyon’ is located on the south end of San Benedicto Island within the famed Revillagigedo Islands. An amazing site that attracts large pelagics due to its depth and exposure to the open ocean. This is an advanced to expert level dive and can only be reached via liveaboard.
Dive site right on the corner of Maamigili Island at the southern end of the Ari Atoll, which also has an airport. Outer reef slowly sloping down to approx. 10 m, then more or less steep wall up to over 40 meters with smaller overhangs and crevices. Depending on the current, right or left shoulder along the reef.
The HTMS Sattakut is a wreck that rests at a max depth of 35m, with the top of the tower at 18m. The wreck is 48 meters in length and lies just south of a neighboring pinnacle dive site, Hin Pee Wee, a favorite destination for safety and deco stops after exploring the wreck.
Large rock formations and smaller pinnacles (shallowest point is about 7m). Lots of soft corals and whip corals. Gets to 22m+. Not a lot to see if limited to 12m. Next HTMS Sattakut wreck and can both be dived in the same dive.

Tanjung Tokong is a pinnacle located one of the northernmost point of Redang island, off a ridge. A good entry point for Tokong is the East of Cagar Hutang Bay, which is 5-7m deep. The site slopes towards the depth, and can reach 30m deep. Due to the exposed location, current can be strong, and attracts fishes.
Whale Shark Point off Miyakoya Port, Yomitan, offers safe encounters with the world’s largest fish in a vast underwater tank. Divers can approach within 50 cm, with programs from snorkeling to fun and experience dives. Calm year-round, it’s ideal for all levels to enjoy this rare experience.
White Rock, also known as White Rock and Black Rock, is located to the south of Nan Yuan Island, adjacent to Koh Tao. The whole site is a fairly large root, so no matter how many dives you do, you will never get bored of it, depending on the course you take, the depth and the type of life you observe. Beginners and seasoned divers alike should enjoy it.
A dive site for beginners as well for advanced! The north side of the site can have a northward current, so please plan your dive accordingly.
Diving in the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez, just outside of La Paz, Mexico is like swimming in an aquarium. Be ready for spectacular backdrops including swim-throughs, caves, caverns, deep pinnacles, and shallow, colorful reefs.
30 to 45 minutes southwest of Koh Tao, these large pinnacles range from 30 to 5 m. Sandy ocean floor with big rocks on the south side. many cracks on the pinnacles where small wildlife can be found. The shallower parts of the pinnacles are covered in magnificent anemones.
Hasama Ocean Park is in the inner bay of Tateyama on the Boso Peninsula. There is a beach, but boat diving is the main activity. At “Takane“ point, about 5 minutes from the harbor, there is a shrine and a large torii in the water.
Tanote Bay is a beautiful dive site on the east coast of Koh Tao. The reef starts right at the shore and reaches over the whole bay. The edge of the reef is at a depth between 8 and 15 meters. Besides the Katamaran Wreck at 18m, Tanote Bay has different artificial reef constructions as well as small caverns!
On the eastern side of the Malay peninsula, near the border between Thailand and Malaysia, this lighthouse reef point sits more than 100km off the coast, a truly isolated island in the middle of the ocean.
This “drift“ dive site is located on the north side of Nan Yuan Island, adjacent to Koh Tao. The name “Green Rock“ comes from the fact that the roots near the surface of the water look green. The depth ranges between 10 and 25 meters and 30 to 40 meters depth can be found with a short swim to the West.
Richelieu Rock is one of the most popular dive sites in Surin Islands National Park. It is a limestone reef that rises almost vertically from a depth of 35 meters, and appears only at low tide, about 1 meter above the surface.
Geographically located in Cebu, Oslob is a fourth-level municipality. It was once a small, quiet coastal town. However, it has become a tourist attraction because of the whale sharks (Butanding in Filipino). Occasionally, whale sharks gather on the Oslob coastline to raise and breed their young.
Shark Island ranges from a depth of 0 to 25 meters, making it one of Koh Tao’s most versatile dive sites. Currents can be strong around this site, but divers can usually take refuge in the lieu of the island and enjoy a relaxed dive.
Imagine a dive site you can reach by daily trips from Santa Maria Island where, when the water temperature is, more or less above 22 ºC (between July and October), on more than 90% of the dives there, you can have many big mantas (mobulas) around you all the time – sometimes with more than 30 mobulas.
Recently seen around Koh Haa Neung are zebra sharks, black trip reef sharks, several different whale sharks, devil (mobular) rays, nurse shark, eagle ray, guitarfish and many other larger species, making the group of 6 islands at Koh Haa one of the top dive and snorkel locations in Thailand.
Sail Rock is a pinnacle which rises to 15m above and 40m below the surface. Sail Rock lies between Koh Phangan and Koh tao. It’s famous for its natural underwater vertical swim through or chimney which divers can enter at 6 metres and exit at 18.
8 Mile Rock, situated near Koh Lipe, Thailand, is not only a premier dive site but also offers the best chance to spot majestic whale sharks and larger rays. This underwater pinnacle, located eight miles from Koh Lipe, is surrounded by clear waters and boasts a vibrant marine ecosystem.
This site is beautiful with granite islands and depths from 12 to 25 meters. This is usually a drift dive with lots of black and white tip sharks, and many fun passages.
This shipwreck was intentionally scuttled as an artificial reef and is located south of Ngam Noi Island. The ship is beautifully resting at 24m on the seabed. There are two cannons at the stern and aft of the ship, with a bridge at the center.
Lak Ngarm are about 16km from the shore, close by the Koh Ngam Noi and Yai where is the swallow’s bird nest. Once you go down underwater, you can enjoy the divesites numbers from 1 to 10 along with the wall as shallow side or deep with the sandy.
North side of Koh Ngam Yai There are 2 peaks of rocks emerging from the water, ranging from 6-23 meters in depth. There are caves under the sea that are home to a variety of fish species.
Ranging between 10 and 40m, No Name Pinnacle can be enjoyed by entry level divers, but only those with deep-dive training will get the most out of this site.
Located about 85 km offshore from Pico Island, Princess Alice Bank is a world-renowned mid-Atlantic seamount that rises dramatically from over 1,000 metres deep to just 35 metres below the surface. Accessible by boat from Horta or Madalena (approx. 3 hours).
Coral Garden is situated 5-10 minutes away by boat from Praslin. A reef type of dive surrounded by soft and hard corals. Depth is around 10-15 meters.
The main pinnacle of Chumphon Pinnacle comes as shallow as 14 meters and the deepest point of the site goes as deep as 45 meters. Offering great opportunities for divers at Open Water level through to XR level.
This is one our favourite dive sites since it has the widest range of wildlife. The reef gently slopes down from the island apart from the wall at the south west which drops 22-26 meters.
Rangali Madivaru (Madi = Manta, Faru = long Reef) is a manta cleaning station located in the channel at approx. 9 meters on the edge where the sloping bottom meets a plateau reef. This dive site is best visited during the manta season when the current is outgoing, otherwise when the current is incoming.
Located in the south of Nusa Penida Island and facing the Indian Ocean, Manta Point can often have big waves. This dive site has large rock mounds which are often visited by manta rays for self cleaning, giving this site it’s name.
In the southwest corner of Jeddah lies Abu Tair Island, home to the wreck of the famous Greek ship Stavronisos. This area is also known as the “Cable Wreck“ due to the massive cables, fences, and steel bundles scattered across the seafloor.
Big mount is located by the northernmost point of Pulau Lima. The entry point is a buoy line extended into 18m depth. As a pinnacle site, the tip was submerged at 14m, whereas the wall extends into 32m where it transitions into a sandy bottom. Current can be strong at times.
This is an advanced dive site due to its depth. The dive starts at 25 meters and goes down to 35 meters. It is located 25 minutes by boat from the dive center and is a great dive with a lot of underwater life.
A rarely dived site located south of St. George’s Island. A point of rock, in the shape of a sail, breaking the surface . A slightly exposed site, but great marine life.
HTMS Chang wreck is the largest recreational wreck diving spot in the gulf of Thailand. It was sunk for recreational diving purpose. At a total length of 100 meters, the wreck sits at around 30 meters deep. Good for wreck penetration dives as well.
Here you will find Thailand’s highest vertical wall, bejewelled with vibrant purple soft corals. One side of the submerged rock levels out at around 60 metres and the other disappears into the abyss. Vast carpets of anemones cover shallower sections of the reef while sea fans cling precariously to the steep walls.
Roca Partida may seem like it is out in the middle of nowhere, sitting approximately 70 miles west of Socorro and 85 miles from San Benedicto, but it is thriving with life. Accessible only by liveaboard, this is an advanced dive on a pinnacle that rises from hundreds of feet of water.
Koh Haa #6 This gem of the area is amazingly rich in sea life. Due to its location it is often that big fish are spotted there.Good fun is to start the dive on #6 and visit the pinnacle between #5 and #6 and finish the dive on northern part of 5.
Outer reef diving site on the local island of Dhighura - reef slowly sloping down from 0 to approx. 10 m, then more or less steep wall up to over 40 m with smaller overhangs. Depending on the current, right or left shoulder along the reef.
The most famous manta ray feeding and breeding ground in the Maldives and the largest known in the world! Don’t miss out this fantastic spot between May and November. Whale Sharks and Dolphins pop in from time to time.
A story goes around that in the 70s ‘Malayan,’ a fishing vessel got the heavy brunt of a strong typhoon & smashed onto the shallow reef top at the southwest side of Tubbatahas’s north atoll. It is now called the Malayan Wreck and has settled on the shallow reef top.

The south side of the Caceres Reef is around 8 meters deep. The deeper area of the reef is untouched from the fish traps which are around at the reef slope. The dive starts out as an overhang of a cliff, full of soft corals and in the deeper area lots of fish.
