Tour Description Whale Shark Tour Itinerary Our Whale shark tour departs everyday at 8:15 am (meeting time 8:00 am at the dive shop if staying on the island) We provide drinks such as bottled water and sodas. As soon as we arrive to the area we start going in the water two participants at a time with our experienced guide. We will give you all the time you need to swim with them, always taking turns. Our amazing captain does a great job by positioning the boat in a way that the whale shark will pass right next to you when you enter the water! Oahu’s shipwrecks have unique stories, but they were sunk as artificial reefs. The YO-257 and Sea Tiger are not the only wrecks we have, but they are the biggest and best on our side of the island. These dives tend to be about 100’ deep and are far enough offshore for pelagic encounters. These wrecks are covered with amazing animals, from small nudibranchs to big reef predators like jacks and rays. We often see turtles and sharks too. This is the premier dive trip for experienced divers.

Our beautiful coral reefs are perfect for all divers, from those fresh out of their Open Water course to experienced divers. The sea! Mystical, exciting, beautiful! Around two thirds of the earth's surface is covered by the sea. Logically, the sea is therefore an enormously important space for humans. It serves as a habitat, as a transportation and trade route, as a source of food or simply as a place for recreation and sport. And although the world's oceans play such an important role in human history, only around 5% of them have been explored. At the same time, the part that is already known is being excessively used and exploited to supply people all over the world with marine products, often at the expense of ecosystems and marine organisms! If that were not enough, the sea also serves directly and indirectly as a garbage can and catch basin for all kinds of pollutants. Whether heavy metals, crude oil, microplastics or any kind of waste - all of these can now be found in the world's oceans. It is clear that the sea needs our help! This exhibition deals with the topics of marine use and marine pollution in a very vivid way!

Be Diving presents "Coral Discovery", an experience whose purpose is to promote responsible and informed diving. Divers will learn about the biodiverse ecosystems of corals, identify representative groups, differentiate between healthy and diseased corals, and differentiate them from other invertebrate groups such as hydrocorals and sponges. At the same time, divers become aware of the problems with coral degradation.

Our school, Amorgos Diving Center, is organizing a unique underwater clean-up event in beautiful Amorgos. This event is open to everyone and is offered free of charge, aimed at protecting the marine environment and raising awareness within the local community. The event will include cleaning up trash found on the seabed, along with informative activities about the importance of marine conservation. All participants will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of underwater life while contributing to the health of our waters. Have you discovered your interest in underwater historical research in the Historic Diving course? Perhaps you have already taken part in a survey or would like to do so in the future? The VDST specialization in underwater archaeology I teaches you advanced scientific skills - and fully qualifies you to participate in the research project on Fehmarn. Course incl. certification: € 369.00 Diving instructors in the VDST must provide proof of annual training hours. But after the umpteenth night or orientation dive, some people have had enough. From now on, graduates of the SK Underwater Archaeology I can assist in a follow-up course - and receive recognized teaching units (LE). Details on request. Sea turtles are some of the most wonderful animals to dive with. You will want to dive with them even more after completing the SSI Sea Turtle Ecology Specialty program! This specialty program provides the skills and concepts you need to recognize and identify common sea turtle species. It teaches you about the fascinating history of sea turtles, their role in marine ecosystems and threats to their survival. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Sea Turtle Ecology Specialty certification.

In the SSI Shark Ecology program, you will learn how to interpret shark behaviours, why they are often misunderstood and how dive with sharks. This is a perfect course for shark fans and for divers who are nervous about sharks but want to overcome their fear. All dive sites from the south to the north and of course the exceptionally beautiful dive sites around Klein Bonaire are within easy reach. On a comfortable cruise you can see Bonaire from the sea. Our goal is to visit dive sites that are difficult or impossible to reach from the shore. We offer 1 and 2 tank dive trips. Friends and family of divers who want to join us for snorkeling are also welcome. In this case we go to places where both divers and snorkelers can enjoy the beautiful reefs. On board we have cool drinking water, an oxygen and first aid kit, life jackets and a marine radio to keep in touch with the coast guard. The boat is located directly behind the dive center, so you don't have to walk far with your equipment.

We meet every Thursday at 19:00 for a fun dive. The choice of dive sites and the dive plan depend on the level of training of the participants, as well as the weather and visibility conditions. Before the dive there is a briefing and the buddy teams are divided up. After the dive, we cultivate camaraderie with a logbook entry and a deco beer. The provisional program can be viewed on our website. Changes may be made at short notice due to weather conditions, for example. The definitive dive site will be posted by 18:00 on the respective dive day at the latest and communicated via the "Thursday Diving" group chat.
